Ladies and Gentlemen!

Mrs. Danvers in a recumbent posture.

Wistful morning on the edge of tears.

Oh! She was only acting! Like Mommy! But believable!

Mrs. Danvers looks like Don Knotts as Santa Claus!

Driving Mrs. Danvers. Through the Daiquiri Drive-Thru.

Mrs. Danvers meet my Mrs. Danvers.

Being John Malcovich, Varla-style! Timo did this! Isn't it strangely appealing?

Don't worry about me,
VJ

Mrs. Danvers is adorable!

In the last photo it looks like mama Merman with her little bald twin offspring! You all have the same makeup.

You were brilliant, beautiful, and gloriously funny on Friday night--and very good in Scrooge in Rouge, too!
If you ever decide to take the play north (think Chicago or NYC instead of Greenland or Latvia), I know someone who would make the perfect Scrooge for you. Be a dear and check out www.lissygulick.com--and play the greeting card video.
I never ever make unsolicited recommendations to anyone about anything (gauche!), but I think this would be a match made in Victorian heaven.
You are the absolute best! Thanks for doing what you do--and doing it so superbly.

Dear Varla, the 1st time I saw you in person was pretty cheesy and that's no slur.
You did a show on RSVP cruise and that long note and cheese whiz made me say gee whiz and WOW!!!!!
I've seen a couple of your shows and have gone away knowing you are the best Recently
you stole "Jungle Red" (not out of a drug store)but from the other performers in the show. And damn girl, that was the most limber leg in a bath tub I've ever seen. BRILLIANT!!!
Now you've done it again. I just read your blog about "Scrooge in Rouge" hope you'll bring it to Frisco.......
Now I know when you write to a "STAR" you shouldn’t ask about others butt, TALK ABOUT A GHOST FROM the CHRISTMAS PAST!!!!!
I was watching your clip of XMAS gifts before the show and who did I see? Ricky Graham. Then I read he was costarring with you and I about fell over. I was told he had died years ago but Holy Varla you brought him back.
Ask him about Gypsum Rose Lee and LaShondra’s greezy ol’ thighs!
I saw his show when I lived in New Orleans between 1985-87 and can still quote some of his lines and songs. I would love to see the two of you together and I'm more than thrilled you are both here despite what Mrs. Danvers wrote me.
Keep UP the fantastic work. Love Doug aka Baroness VonNeedle
